    Favourite 22 magnum ammo.

    Shooting Red Necked wallaby and Possums last night with the standard winchester 40 grain jhp load . Projectiles punched straight through the chests of everything , even the biggest roos. They died but ran before doing so. Wondering if a more explosive load such as the 30 grain v max would be better for on the spot kills or are these critters too solid for the varmint pills . What do you 22 mag guys use ?
