    First animal with reloads

So I've finally got all my reloading gear setup and settled on a load for the 243 55gr Blitz king, loaded up a few and went for a short walk

Got these two, one after the other, no rangefinder so rough range from Strelok told me about 120 and 200 the second.

the 55rg doing about 3500fps hits pretty hard but still expanded well, both hares have very messy exit wounds which I thought I'd leave facing down

Weather started to pack up surprise surprise, so only the two hares but pretty satisfying shooting something with reloads, even if it was just a couple hares

Well done, and its a good feeling, any time you make the gear, and have good results with it, ammo, trout flies, saltwater leaders etc.

    Bloody good on ya.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

    Well done. Very satisfying.
The 243 is a great small game cartridge.
Experience. What you get just after you needed it.
