    Free pest control

    Hi,
Three friends and small game hunters looking for land to hunt rabbits/possums in the surrounding areas of Hamilton.
If you have a farm or a property with a rabbit or hare problem and and are willing to grant permission to hunt then please contact John on 0223410661 or reply to this thread with information.
Responsible adults who know the difference between pest and stock, respectful of land and will leave all gates as found.
Using a .22 and air rifles.
No fee obviously, just enjoy the exercise and the hunt,
    Thank you.

It's a bugger you're in the north island. If you were in the south I would've given you free rein over my place. Rabbit and hare numbers have exploded because of the kind spring and summer. The boy can't seem to get on top of the possums either. He's got 30 traps out, and is doing alright, but hardly making a dent in the population.
    Good luck with your quest.

It's the only problem with reading text, you can't detect the sarcasm in the written word. Getting textually frustrated, so I'm not going to reply to all the PM's
I was taking the piss, a noob asking for a spot which probably 90% of the fellas/felless's on here are after.
Still keen on swaps though, but all I can offer is around 1200 acres of grass that gets shot every week or so.........numbers are very low.

For those wondering where @oraki is based.. he's usually sitting on top of a diesel engine of some description. So if there's a diesel engine nearby, go check it out just in case the diesel pixie is lurking nearby to grant you access to small-game-hunting paradise.

And likely to pop his pixie head up anywhere in the central South Island at anytime.....day or night, in his diesel milk cart

It's hard to find someone to let you on there farm.
It comes down to who you know.
I have knocked on doors before and managed to get temporary access.
Fortunately I know a bee keeper who managed to get me permission on a old farm with lots of goats, but very few bunnies.
I recommend you use the introductions forum and let us know a bit about yourself, I think after that you will find people here to be more friendly but your chances of getting access will still be slim to none I'm afraid.
    Good luck and welcome aboard.

This^^^ but also why would you ask on a hunting and shooting forum for access?
Much better odds trawling the likes of organic farming/orchards forums if there is such a thing, people who want pests removed rather than people who want to remove pests if you get my drift.
