Well done Sean
Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
Good work @Sean.
Those hedgehogs will be good eating this time of year too, just have to be careful when your skinning them out to avoid getting pricked, ........... or do you pluck them and roast them with the skin on?
Cheers
Pete
Good work Sean.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
Great work Sean - looks like there is good money in possums for a young guy - just keep shooting and trapping and lots of fun doing it
Good you are onto those hogs - lots of people think they are a novelty - but they are ugly killers of every ground dwelling animal, bird and invertebrate
Lady next door breeds and feeds them on her one acre section - I am sick of hog shit on the lawn and paths - 11 so far in three weeks - they seem to like the magpie trap - not sure if is the mirrors or the cat biscuits - I don’t have a cat
Good work. Maybe that rifle is a fairly accurate tack driver, and not just full of lucky shots. Next you be telling us the possums were in a tree, on the other side of the valley around 200yards away, and the hedgehog was on the run dodging cowshit
@Sean
Yep they are Prickilicious alright.
I like to roll them in clay and pat it down until they look like one big mud ball
Then roll the mud ball into an open fire and roast them in the coals until the mud bakes all the way through and you begin to see steam coming out of the cracks in the mud ball.
Then roll them out of the fire and crack them open ...... the skin and prickles remain stuck in the clay leaving the perfectly roasted Hog inside.
Goes great with Watties Tsauce too
Num Num Num
Cheers
Pete
