    Goats!

We headed down to a new pine block just planted two months ago to pop some goats with the pressy of the bush deer stalkers.Weather shat itself but we managed to keep dry coverd some mile's on his trusty workhorse thank god two as the country was typacle wairarapa hill country. The place has already been pretty bombed up so i wasnt expecting two much other than a day out hunting, we spotted a nanny first thing in the morning so we decided to head back there after lunch to see if she had some mates!.As we sidled along a ridge oppisite were we has seen here a decent billy walked out onto a small ridge and then she popped out just in front of him My mate was on my right so once we decided the targets we did a three count and boom! I aimed at my billys neck 200 out and he pissrolled down the hill DOA! my mates nany got let off much to his disbelif! then as i looked back along the ridge a smaller billy walked out to chq what was happening and our host snoted it in the neck from 240 with his marlin 223.Would have liked to have been more goats to pop but never mind me and my oldest boy had a lot of fun and he got a trophy which just made his day and we played silly buggers along the way aswell which was fun aswell.

Good times Neckshot. If that is your young fellah hanging on to the goat, he looks fairy chuffed about it all.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Good on ya mate. He will be telling his mates what a hero you are and he will remember it all his life and tell your grand kids about it with pride.
