Are HMR split cases still an issue? I haven't bought any HMR ammo for a couple years and it seems hornady is hard to get at the moment. CCI used to split, that still the case?

I haven't had any split for a long time now, maybe 2000 / 3000 rds and maybe longer.
Ammo is a little hard to get in some places by the sound of it, demand in the states is through the roof on all things gun related. so between that and world wide freight issues we are seeing it a supply issue.

A mix of either Hornady 17 gr or the Federal 17gr. Seem basically identical both in terms of accuracy and on game performance... both running the 17 gr v max projectile.
Only difference is the Hornady run a red v max projectile and the Federal are black.
