Industrial rabbit photographed down by the Petone foreshore Wellington having a snack.

I haven't been back there for awhile, quite enjoyed seeing them there but they seem to have disappeared last time I was there?

clever bunny even knows to stay within the yellow lines so as not to be run over!!!!

Mate of mine literally shoots thousands of them every year around Kapiti coast.

I'll shoot a bunny without thinking twice. But they are still cute.

Pest or not that's a great photo

This one lives under the deck, the dog pays little attention to it

He's guarding his grass supply from the dog judging by the look in his eye. Dog is esping rabbit reassuring it that he is'nt a vegan.

Nice photo and healthy looking animal. They do seem to like being around human dwellings for some reason. I love rabbit shooting and realise the damage they do, especially down south, but I hope we can learn to live with them as other countries have done albeit with serious culling where needed.

@Woody that killer dog is just waiting the instruction or a cuddle, I’m not sure which.

back to the bunny......the colour and feet size, is more hare than cottontail.....but the ears /facemore cottontail than hare....Ive looked at this great photo more than once and the colour still seems wrong for cottontail unless there is some petshop genes going on somewhere...perhaps,maybe??
