clever bunny even knows to stay within the yellow lines so as not to be run over!!!!
Mate of mine literally shoots thousands of them every year around Kapiti coast.
That bunny just be one of the family heading to town for the weekend :beer:
Little feller; just getting on with life as best he can; like all of us. Good luck little bunny :)
Port of Tauranga and surrounding industrial areas are full of them :)
I'll shoot a bunny without thinking twice. But they are still cute.
Pest or not that's a great photo
This one lives under the deck, the dog pays little attention to itAttachment 199855
He's guarding his grass supply from the dog judging by the look in his eye. Dog is esping rabbit reassuring it that he is'nt a vegan.
Nice photo and healthy looking animal. They do seem to like being around human dwellings for some reason. I love rabbit shooting and realise the damage they do, especially down south, but I hope we can learn to live with them as other countries have done albeit with serious culling where needed.
@Woody that killer dog is just waiting the instruction:D or a cuddle, I’m not sure which.
Neither; it just farted and is about to get his head upwind.
nothing "rusty" about this one @RUMPY maybe a bit of bleach touch up going on
back to the bunny......the colour and feet size, is more hare than cottontail.....but the ears /facemore cottontail than hare....Ive looked at this great photo more than once and the colour still seems wrong for cottontail unless there is some petshop genes going on somewhere...perhaps,maybe??
@Bos Thousands of rabbits every year? Wow! How did you do with those carcasses? Throw away, or....
Plenty around Omaha, I wondered if the cats would have a go at them. Nina went up recently, took about 8 minutes from when she arrived to the first one down.

I think I would aim at the cats front legs, get both with one barrel.
Na rabbit, hares body n face slightly different in colouring n looks.
Oh how do we count the ways eh @Bos
Hares have
Longer ears
Black tips to ears
Different eyes
longer legs
Tail doesn't flash white
More ginger colouration
Black nose
3 week old hare:

My money is on it being a rabbit, gotta admit it sits like hares frequently do.
yip ok.....agree its a rabbit.....look at photo of it without head in view, and you may see what I mean re colouring.....
Industrial rabbit with road sense:)
Just using a combo of photos to create some fun.

Perhaps we can all learn something from this, he definatly looks left then he definatly looks right and in his mind the coast was clear, then he crossed the road.
I think the rabbit would disagree with which way he is looking...;)
