    Cheers Graeme,
    why isn't long netting more popular for rabbit control in New Zealand,
    it appears very popular in Europe?

    From what I have tried and what I have read it is a successful method of filling the larder and pest control.

    Long ago we started using ground based then aerial dropped poisons to control rabbits.

    Sort of a wide flung chemical net that we still use now. Unfortunately this method takes no prisoners and you cant eat your catch.

    I was thinking of giving it a go. I'm working on getting some netting but it isn't as easy as you might think.

    We had no trouble getting netting in those days. If my memory serves me correctly we used a product called Net Inner. It was cheap and easy to get.

    I forgot I have long netted and short netted deer as well.
