I really like the look of the 20 Vartarg, and for a while was really keen to build one, but they supposedly don't mag feed well, brass is hard to get etc

I came to the conclusion that a 20 Practical makes much more sense. A simple neck down of 223 to 20 cal

Lots of quality 223 brass around, easy mag feeding and slightly better performance than the 20VT without having too much case capacity.

And dies are easier too. Just use an S type 223 FL bushing die with a 20 cal bush in it
