I tried this method last week. Tip is use your body weight on the squeeze.
It is also hilarious to aim towards your hunting buddy on the initial squeeze - it is wee and poo!

So was it as effective as in the video?

Absolutely. I used to use the old hook method (finger into groin, open belly, shake-shakey).
This is twist, tighten, pop. Easy to get going to the next one when out rabbiting.

It won't pop the diaphragm all the time, so you will still need to open them up when airing out the rabbits back home.
But still fast and less messy in the field.

Just have to learn how to split the skin down the back to peel the skin off & we're all sorted then.

I tried it on the last rabbit we shot um a wee while ago now, I got out the knife then thought hang on Il try that thing.
Guts popped out threw belly cavity but not skin and ended up round the hind quarters and h bone between meat and skin, then I picked up the knife again.

That clip is awsum, ill definately be giving it a go next time I get a bunny
