    Opening weekend Wobbly shoot

A mate Brian puts on a big opening weekend with friends coming to Sth Cantab from all over the country, not a huge crew but very diverse. We all had a great weekend shooting ducks on different bits of water around the same general area coming back together at the end of the day for plenty of beers and good food as you do.
On Monday came the Wobblies, man what fun. We walked the McKenzie high country with hundreds of BB loads and plenty of expectations and we weren’t disappointed. Im not sure how many we bowled over, well in excess of 50, probably closer to 65-70
8 of us walked a line as is the norm with two shooting the low country. We found we shot more behind than in front with the buggers sitting Name: 15E0E0C2-8770-46EA-B04D-5968AD14C505.jpeg

I was walking the ridge line and saw a few over the left side so broke ranks and man was that the right call awol or not lol
Slipped over into a swale about 50x150m at the top of the valley and walked into a herd of them. Went through about 45 rounds knocking over approx 20, most took multiple shots from the semi. The crew over the ridge thought I was taking the piss but I was in wallaby heaven lol.
Covered a lot of ground that day leaving as rain started to fall in the late evening.
Awesome weekend with a great bunch.

Sounds like a bloody good weekend all round, but the wobbly slaying session sounds epic.

Yeah mate, I tell ya, climbing the ridge line my body was telling me I was an idiot but that feeling disappeared quickly lol
Shot 7 pigs as well, forgot about those
Covered about 7 or 8 kms sidling mostly so the feet felt it for sure.

Always a good day on the wallabies. Looks like you've accidentally cropped the screenshot too small and cut off the coordinates

Lol that wasn’t intentional, the forum limits on pics made me crop it
Obviously taken from our friend in the sky Google Earth
