Thread: Rabbit trapping anyone...Help.

They dug holes and shit all over my lawn – so I made a couple of wood tunnels and partially buried them – a gap in the middle with a fenn6 – a core flute cover over the trap. Rabbits and other pests love underground tunnels – I caught many rats and even a couple of large ferrets. No lure required with a Fenn6 – just let them walk on through!
Rabbits hate Blood and Bone.
A friend down Feilding is reverting ten acres to native trees – rabbits did a lot of damage – shooting helped but a few strategically placed tunnels with Fen6 traps keeps them under control.
I have tried a cage but never managed to cage a rabbit – don’t bother to use Pindone – a rabbit has to eat more than 10 pieces to kill it.
I watch a bit of Life Below Zero on BBC Earth – various participants do winter trapping using snares – they look to be very effective. Just do a YouTube search on snaring rabbits – heaps of information – but you might get the neighbor's cat.
