Spotlighting Torch Mount for my 17HMR

Wanting to sort a torch mount for my Nitecore P12GTS onto my VX1, any recommendations? Got their torch mount to picatinny rail but unsure on the best way to go from there, tempted to get a set of rings with a rail on the top of one.

Need to get a remote switch for it too but that might have to wait till i get the mount sorted.

    Cheers
    Tom

Honestly, tried a few fixed mounts, and just found them all a bit much hassle. Ultimately ended up with a plastic figure-8 one just like the one I'll link below here, and it's great. Quick to fit and remove, just throw it in your bag with your torch for the afternoon, then pop it on when you need the light after dark.

Stood up just fine to a maxtoch on top of a 223, so a wee nitecore on an HMR won't be a bother either. Only potential con is that it's a bit taller than some other options, but that was a bonus for me, stopped glare off the back of the suppressor shining into my scope.

This one might be a good alternative of the same general idea too - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32772899593.html

If you decide you prefer a fixed mount, you could also grab one of these - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32896494967.html

Hacksaw the second ring off, then you can just leave the half with pic rail permanently on the scope, and pop your torch mount on/off as needed.

The figure of 8 looking things that come with maxtorch work well, no need for tools to put on and off either

I have one of those too and pretty happy with it. I started out using two, but it is easier to get the torch to point exactly where the rifle is pointing with only one.
