Thread: Suppressor

Have up graded the DPT suppressor on the 17hmr to a 17 over barrel centre and a very good reduction.
Shot with it the other night in town and a great report from me and a lesser report is now less than a stand 22lr.
A lot nicer to use and worth the change in my opinion. As tentman+would say, it works for me.

My 17 hmr suppressor didn't make much noise reduction even at 5 baffles
Wish Guncity have a policy to let you try before you buy, that would be osum.

Yeh I run the same on my A17 and it's great, all you really get is the sonic crack without any muzzle boom.

I have the DPT 22magnum can (5 baffles), though I initially brought it to quieten down 22lr hv like stingers. It works a treat on my 17, definitely no boom as I have seen bunnies quite confused over where shots are coming from.

Must say I have fallen in love with the 17hmr.
