Thread: Suppressor failure

Ammonia and aluminium plus moisture equals corrosion. Duralum is better but will still get little white specks forming. This is why dpt and others reccomend taking the supressor off and airing it out. Even though its a little round the powder still produces water and ammonia in enough quantity to cause corrosion. On the bright side ammonia stops rusting on steel so the bores protected.
