I had a fallow hind run into me on a tight bush track a month ago, when I grabbed her left front leg she let out a heinous sound and lept around at the end of my arm like a teenager avoiding the dishes.

It took all my strength to push her to the ground and hold her down, after a bit of a talk from me I let her go.

My mate looked at me like I was crazy, in the scuffle she had badly torn the chest in my hunting shirt and my left sleeve, he had lept to my right to avoid her but still his shirt was ripped open at the stomach and his right sleeve was torn in two places, and he had a 15 inch graze/bruise down his RH side, I had a badly twisted/bent finger and more grazes than Johnny Knoxville.

Had it been any larger it would have pounded both of us easily.

    Don't try it
Hell, I would have paid good money to "spectate" that act

Grab em by the neck or head is the key deer have long necks and not much muscle on it get the head on the ground the rest follows
Still would have been entertaining to watch Im sure.
As would me wrestling Dougies stag to the ground and yelling for a knife while the other two were still standing in the paddock

There is a story behind this I am sure?
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

I'll leave the deer wrestling for the mad and insane I think.
Last thing I need right now is more injuries.

Took the boy up there this morning to clear the traps and he kept looking around for deer.
