Turkeys

Not the govt but whats the deal with turkeys on farms any good to eat at the moment

Wait a bit till they've been eating new grass shoots for a while. They'll have a funny taste because they've been eating bugs like crickets for a while.

Heed the advice, summer turkeys are not very nice to eat. I'm sure there are exceptions, but this is my experience.
