Seeing as there has been a fair bit of interest in night vision stuff lately I thought I'd do a bit of a quick video. Bit clearer what you see through the scope but you get the idea.

Good shooting.
Good shooting Tex
What scope were you using? Nice and clear.
Cheaper scopes,ye the nikko stirling 1.5x6x44,big FOV and works well.And you can till buy them new in NZ for about $320.
Sweet, I’m still playing with my ht66 on a 22 bolt with segmented cci , making progress with a niko gold crown ao so far am impressed but the set up is getting heavy
@TLB great wee video
What do you think of the unit overall for night time hunting?
I'm thinking of getting the HT 66 for clipping onto a .22 or .17 HMR primarily for bunnies out to 150 mtrs tops or to just go for a HT 60
What are your thoughts?
I had one of the ht 66 and an ht 660, before them I had a pard 008 lrf which I just recently sold.
The pard 008 is similar to the ht 60. I liked it but found switching it between multiple rifles, the .22, .17 and .223 tiresome with the constant need for a rezero. Good lightweight units but also with that high base magnification it was quite difficult to aquire targets quickly. Certainly if it was to stay on one rifle it would be fine. The rangefinder is really handy on the rangefinder models. I would always go with the 850nm illuminator as the 940 is really not enough.
The ht 660 has a mount for an external IR whereas the ht 66 you use the inbuilt one which I found not adequate for what I do as I need a little more range. Scopes with adjustable parallax are a must and side focus is ideal.
