Ways to culll wild pigs without guns

Since I got no where to go until next new years holiday then I find something interesting except fishing and my usual projects at home. In here land of China, wild pigs especially boars have caused huge problem and casualties in recent years because some idiots put all the wild animals into protected list. Now there are over 2 million of them as official said in this month, they are destroying corps, farm land and killing people, nearly 40 people were killed by boars as reported since 2022, the actual number of wounded could be over thousand.

Now China local govt put on rewards for bounty hunters, RMB 2,400 = NZD $545.00 for each wild pig killed, but hunters can `t use any firearms, traps or poisons. So, any thoughts about the approaches of culling them? The reward for each kill is very generous, and this could be an on going project for years and opportunity for people who has the skill and entrepreneurial ideas. So how about it, what you think?

As far as I know, the steal spring trap can `t be used because it could hurt other animals or human as well digging a hole to trap them.

Look at some American farming YT channels. They have massive pig problems (esp Texas) and they make large steel mesh container traps and bait them with corn. A cell phone sends pictures of whats in the trap, and at a signal the trap closes. Some capture 20 odd pigs at one time . Then you would need a crossbow to kill them.

Following on from @Tentman said, what about modified M44 ejectors with pig-specific weighted springs?

Seems strange that they can't trap pigs yet they have no issues boiling a dog alive and a large proportion of the population have very limited empathy towards animals and conservation fullstop

Yeah. Doing business in a highly regulated country like communist China is hard for commoners. Actually I do `t want to do any biz in China, in fact I have retired in China at my 40s. To bring this topic up is just because I need to fill the gap between now and Feb 2025.
