Thanks @ Trout, yes the freezer was starting to get a bit low. Will cut out back steaks, take off shanks and mince the rest.

Gidday @SmokeyJason "How are you going verify the speed?"
I do a couple of quick checks (1) Is it dead? If the answer is YES, then that speed is OK! If the answer is NO, I need more speed!
Second check (2) Is the exit hole BIG or small? If it's BIG that's fast enough! If it's small, I need more speed!
Not as scientific as some on this forum, but it works for me.

Yeah mate, ended up with 42 on the ute (made a full tray!)
Had a 22-250 doing most of the work along side a .308 (slight overkill, but surplus ammo).
Majority of them 120-160m a couple out to 280m. They weren't too fond of our presence!
We gave a couple nice ones away to be eaten but the rest went to be processed for dog tucker. 3 lads started a pest control venture... we'll travel all over the North Island shooting what we're asked to. Should probably throw something up on here at some point

What a beautiful morning to me clinging onto a cliff face by your toe nails and finger tips.
Three shots, three dead Billy Goats Gruff!
Shots them at 10.45am. Rolled two to the beach at the bottom of the cliff. The other is within 50m of the top fence.
Just got back to the ute for a sandwich, only to find I've run out ot coffee!!!!! WTF!!!
Wind is up to 25 - 30 knots now LOL
