A few pics that I wanted to share with @Micky Duck . I went for a wallaby mission with my daughter on the weekend. Was an absolute mission battling gorse for an hour to get to one of the wallabies that I shot. In my mind the wallaby was getting bigger and bigger the longer I went through those prickles. Upon finding it in the dark I was sure someone had swapped it out for a much smaller one because it was tiny!

I made a shooting set-up from an old tripod which seemed to help when shooting over tussock.

Classic case of "ground shrinkage". Pleased you had good trip and managed to tip a few over. I will use my frame pack for shots like that but usually find I'm sitting with elbows braced on knees shooting across small gullies.

Cripes. You must have terrible eyesight. They have painted big white stripes on the cattle to keep them safe.

Evening walk with a good mate in North Canterbury hoping for a deer but ended up with three hares. Turned very wet-- great for the farmers. Trophy of a cast antler though, pity its old owner didn't come and say hello.
