Very hot and dry today out for a bush hunt someone had the same idea as me to head for a nice cool gully...
Long time between drinks, got a call to cull a few hares last Friday from a developer having natives attacked.
Here’s where I join the @Pengy club. Got down to the bach, but forgot my ammo, then realised it was in a locked box in the gun room along with the bolt, mag and suppressor! Stuff the new rules!
Then on Sunday my wife sold our lounge suite to a guy and his wife, he’s a keen hunter and hunts locally. He kindly offered a .22 Ruger for a few days, so I followed him home and picked it up, then went to Hamills in Taupo and bought some ammo. Today I took a drive around the developing streets and nailed these two. The rifle is amazingly accurate for a pick up and shoot.
My old mate will be happy with some meat.
Boom, cough,cough,cough
And now we are old enough to understand, have a great Christmas @Pengy

Possums have been hammering our orange trees
So put a ring of steel around them and had one in the traps each night
The little buggers eat the skin and a bit of the flesh and then start on another

They also like lemons but just eat the skin strangely they leave the grapefruit alone
Banging a few mynahs and magpies after the hay came off today. The 17H still shoots laser beams
Old people.
Well some old people
When I first moved to aussie in 2006 was talking to the guy I bought our car from and somehow possums came up.
They are protected over there.
He said they were apparently bastard things on his tomatoes.
Take one bite, stuff the tomato then bite a other one. Rinse and repeat.
Told him it wouldnt last long back here if it did that
