    Year of the rabbit.....

A question to those who have marketing knowledge....

Most or all of us know about the Whale Watching Industry in the world and how it has developed into a substantial industry? In Japan, tourist go to Okunoshima Island. Also known as 'Rabbit Island" to see rabbits and maybe visit the WW2 poison gas factory? Read on....

I was looking on the web and reading about the 12 Chinese zodiac signs. This year it is the Year of the tiger and also looking at the amount of sellable merchandise that supports it?

So next year in 2023 is the Year of the rabbit. So how does New Zealand with 'RABBITS" capitalize on its "RABBIT PROBLEM"

Maybe run bunny watching tours.......Any ideas out there?

Every new business idea is worth million dollars, not every new biz. NZ tourism market has lot of potentials, but too many factors blocks the development. Rabbits is good idea, but only watch them? Not do hunt, make it into delicious meal?
Sometimes, people like me who lives on salaries really has difficulties to understand how rich people thrown money and their buying behaviors.

Year of the dead rabbit here. The RCD has just gone through in its normal yearly run and taken out 95%. My old man found seven just laying dead in the grass when he mowed his frontage with the ride-on last week. Dead baby laying in my vege garden yesterday, out in the open

    Hasn't happened here.
    Quite a few rabbits.
Will need to shoot a few before I burn a rubbish heap.

So, goodbye big hares and goodbye to a million dollars export. earlier last year, we were talking about premium rabbit meats. But watching the poison deployed further and further, and more difficulties to access lands. Those people may right, but I am just wondering that if you want to more employment creations, why you would `t allow something happens, maybe just cross the line little bit. For instance, crayfishes, each year the number of commercial catch were over the limits, and so called recreational catch?
