only just noticed the torch.......what is it? On the other thread in some of the pic's their is a light in the background.....is it close to the road or is it the spot light?

We have had people wandering around our place lately , not poaching but just trespassing .
Why do people feel its OK to go onto other peoples property ???

I wouldn't have a clue where that is... But after seeing the other thread, the sounds where mentioned, that tells me Milford sounds? I don't know, but nowhere around me.

I wasn't having a dig mate, just pointing it out. The landowner is not known to me either, but an guess is they are based near Pelorus, which is top of the south

An update: we have a tentative identification, so the $500 reward is no longer offered. But, any information that anyone has on these folks would be gratefully accepted--thank you! More information later, to answer the questions raised here.

@KarakaB let us know how it pans out, hope the judge throws the book at them instead of a wet bus icket

Yes please keep us posted @KarakaB. If this proceeds through to police action and some form of punishment, be it diversion or an actual conviction ( probably unlikely for a first offence), then I would very much like to hear about it. This is a problem that a lot of us have experienced at one time or another, and I would like to be able to talk about it with my landowners based on actual facts and outcomes, rather than what we believe should or should not happen.

@Flyblown exactly, I have spent a bit of time getting permission from landowners, some areas I'm the only one allowed there yet I find boot prints and droped hunting items occasionally...
