Thread: The ‘feed belt’

Hi guys,

Getting back into hunting after some time away starting a family. I’m new to hunting the Ruahines, but have spent 20yrs hunting other parts of N.Z. I have heard a lot of people mention the ‘feed belt’. Am I right that this is the bush zone immediately downslope of the leatherwood? I’m hunting the mid-western Ruahines. Word on the street is that’s the place to be spending my time stalking....
