    1000m Sight-in?

    Mery Christmas to all. I am after some advice please.
    Does any one know where in the Napier/Hastings or CHB area I could go to sight in up to a 1000m?
    The range only goes to 400m

    I know some guys get ready for the Toby memorial shoot early but this is next level

    Howa 1500 with Vortex scope.Had some reloding done and it is bang on.I just want to see how the rifel and scope combo will perform at long range

    Checking ballistics mate.
    .300 Howa 1500 model.I had a 30.06 and a .243 in the Howa before I got the .300WinMag.

    You can check your ballistics over 400m easy. Just shoot a group @ 100 then 200 and 400. Don't adjust your scope from the 100m group, the recorded drop will give you the 'real' world drop that you can then use to massage any of the ballistic calculators to give you your trajectory out to 1000m. Once you've done that double check by dailing
