You can check your ballistics over 400m easy. Just shoot a group @ 100 then 200 and 400. Don't adjust your scope from the 100m group, the recorded drop will give you the 'real' world drop that you can then use to massage any of the ballistic calculators to give you your trajectory out to 1000m.
