He is definitely the older of all those photographed. Didn't mean to come across to say he 'needs more time', that's just what I would do, everyone's different, everyone hunts for different reason and I respect that may be a trophy of a lifetime for some guys. It's great to see 'management' working, sounds like it is on this place. But also sounds like the management "program" is quite young, therefore even some of those oldest stags may just be reaching maturity now. Given the approx location of these animals I would be taking a punt that the genetics would be a big player, there's a heap of tucker, points come before mass and length, so if these are the biggest stags he's seen on the place so I just think it would be interesting to see if in another year those stags would be bigger again. At the end of the day I don't judge what others shoot or don't shoot, my comments are based simply on what I do.
