    2019 Tahr Ballot

With all of the goings on with the Fuehrer Sage's plans of Tahrmageddon being scuppered and a reasonable management plan now in place(ish)
how many of our members are putting in for a Tahr Ballot in Adams, Hooker Landsborough wilderness areas? Ballot closes soon.

I missed out on the Haast Ballot so I'm in. With a bit of luck a bit more successful.

Haha yeah mate with ya on that.

Although Adams may be xtra hard to get a block due to 6 of the 13 blocks out due to Perth ZIP 1080 program. Problem is I put in for the Adams

Of course. Most of those blocks have always been culled, some only weeks before the ballot period starts. It doesn't take long for the tahr to work out they have a lot of scrub to hide in.

Thers plenty of scrub for them to hide in too.
Noticed this years ballot they were alot higher than last ballot. Yet there was snow right down to the river this year. was hoping for the opposite
The last two years we've been in there there has been choppers working "our Block". 5th & 6th period. we had two on the same day once.

If it's not a first round hit you need to practice more
