So absolutely not shot with the .223- exact opposite. Took this spiker last night with my .358 Win at around 100yds. 200gr Hornady SP launched at 2600fps.

Agreed. The terminal damage created by the heavier .223 bullets is way enough to kill reliably a long way off. If I was to fault them its the lack of blood trail most of the time. But thats not a biggy.
