That is true, I picked up a box of 73's the other day and the build is progressing slowly

Anyone else used the Hornady Black 75grn hpbt ammo on deer?
I shot two hinds tonight at 80 yards, both crease shots, both only took two steps and died. A lot of internal damage to lungs. Be keen to hear others thoughts or experiences with this ammo.
Forgot to mention the hinds were mature Reds.
The unbroken side went 28". Nearly a genuine trophy.
77grn TMK's these 2 shot @ 200m
A lot of damage for a little pill, deer wern't going anywhere.
A bit of processing to finish off
When hunting think safety first
Warts and all.
Watch to end.
Last shot was 254 yards and allowed for a right /left wind. Centre shoulder hit. 77TMK.

It’s an Arken Zulus night/day scope that you can take vids through. About $1,200. I’m very impressed by it. When I get home I will post a vid of a head shot at night using the IR.

Haven’t posted in a while. Typical steep Marlborough bluffs with a dead stag half way up, if I got closer the deer would be covered by tree’s because of the steepness.
The spiker with some interesting head gear and he’s 3km from the nearest farm. 429m and 34 degree angle with a 80gr ELD-m smashed both shoulders and exited.
A hind at 320m instant bang flop roll.
Gnarly country there @tikka. Great shooting.
