    I think he would have tipped over backwards with that method and to be fair not my bum crack so no issues haha!

    Try it.the tipping over backwards thing is actually less of issue as weight is lower,you still can lean forward but not as much need as weight is across shoulder tops.big bonus is if you tip over forwards you can get out from under animal easier.

    Definitely....any help is hugely appreciated.i do see photos of young folk under huge loads and my back cringes,oh how I wish I knew the easier ways that I do now,when I was younger.

    So you have 2 legs in front of your each shoulder and 2 behind.
    The strap goes from the leg against your back over your shoulder then through the leg at front.

    There is actual video footage of Dave Saxton of venison era fame carrying ...2 large gutted red stags at once. Dave Ratcliffe says Saxton was a monster when it came to carrying.
