Its taken 84 deer to teach her to sit back and wait rather than try to help herself.

@craigc Nah. That one I actually got her to wait. It took about 20 "get out of it Bell" and and 10 "F... offs" :)
Everyone taking their pee shooters out for the roar?or are the big guns coming out the cupboard ?
A .223 is the most powerful rifle I own, so yup it'll be going out with me during the roar.
I could borrow more powerful rifles, my brother in law has a very nice Tikka 7/08 that's never left the safe but I trust and enjoy using my .223

77TMK 223 clearly bounced of the red stag but he was kind enough to let my brother pose next to him for a picture.

150m headshot in the torch light just after dark. My daughter was disappointed that her shot hit 20mm left of dead center between the eyes :ORLY:
We'd targeted a buck that was croaking earlier, called him in to 30m but her glasses had fogged after slogging up the hill. This yearling was a consolation.
75gr eld-m @2920fps mv, shattered the skull but no exit. Squishy soft head.
