Holy heck. Is shipping pretty constant regardless of order size?
Shipping is getting ridiculous!
I've got the 62gr Maker T-Rex which work out at $89.90 NZD/50. They kill stuff extremely well too.
It is all relative. Ask a meth addict about the cost of their consummables. Do they care. I want it I get it. An evening meal for 4 adults will cost you that. Google the cost of fishing on a private English or Scottish manor. Make your eyes water. I know a bloke who makes mega money and is now a gun addict. Chews thru barrels like nothing else. His response...do they repeat yesterday's.
I also joined the Howa club. Quite unreal how accurate these things are out of the box. Chucked a vh3hd on top, ran some factory 64gr fed blue box through it and she's good to go. I do handload for my 308 and will do for this beauty at some stage too but for now these seem accurate enough.
Vx3hd I meant sorry. Anyone tried these federal 64gr on deer?I believe they're Speer projectiles?
Speer =awesomeness
High country stag taken with a 80gr eld-m at 366m shot off walking sticks as scub was too high to shoot prone.

High shoulder shot. 77grn TMK ...

The impact sound is a lot more substantial thud with the heavyweights compared to the 55gr. Even hitting solid bones like the humerus and scapular sounds of a louder crack.
On the hill before daybreak, 387yd shot right in the middle of the chest with a 73gr ELDM it took two steps and fell over, back at the truck by 8am, happy to have my young 21 year old brother in law for the heavy lifting.

Whanau lifting. Awesomeness.
Man..you really should get a length of seatbelt or transport strop,then use Alex Gale carry strap method. In open country it is much easier on your body and no blood down ya bum crack is a big bonus.
"Alex Gale carry strap method."
What is that?
Thread a long strap through all 4 legs and buckle at the front https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...b6818f90fc.jpg

I think he would have tipped over backwards with that method and to be fair not my bum crack so no issues haha!
Try it.the tipping over backwards thing is actually less of issue as weight is lower,you still can lean forward but not as much need as weight is across shoulder tops.big bonus is if you tip over forwards you can get out from under animal easier.
Ive never worried about how other people carry my deer :)
Definitely....any help is hugely appreciated.i do see photos of young folk under huge loads and my back cringes,oh how I wish I knew the easier ways that I do now,when I was younger.
@25/08 IMP thx.
Interesting.
Still a bit unsure. Do two of the legs go under the arm pit to the chest?
