Thread: Is .223 a good all rounder?

I suspect a lot of the .223's reputation has to do with the fact that its considered a specialist Deer caliber used by experienced shooters.
You have to pick your shots and deliver the projectile in the exact place to be successful .
Well I can tell you right now that my 7mm Mag barrel on my Blaser isn't the answer to all questions and no matter what your shooting at you should still have the .223 mindset and place the bullet precisely .
If you use a .223 for long enough it will make your bigger calibers even more efficient .
