Tikka 243 8T . Is it happening in NZ or is it a Unicorn?

@TLB so from that I would suggest the targex expands the most quickly of the 3, followed by the SST then the BT?
The 243 Ballistic tip is meant to be quite a bit tougher than most of them

Yeah likely be in that order although the 95gr sst can be quite explosive too.
The targex from what I understand have a Berger jacker but with the hollow point slightly more open than the Berger to allow for more reliable expansion.

None of my loads are going warp speed either. Haven't chased velocity so much and both of my .243s have short barrels. They might behave differently going 200 fps faster.

Projectiles doing what projectiles should do.
85 grain Hornady Interbond at 3100fps.
One end for end on a Sika hind.
One through both shoulders of a Rusa stag. 57 grains and 63 grains retained.
Pity Hornady have discontinued them.Name: 1735694534892180998039398142547.jpg

Yes, Berger jackets. I think Bryne's "secret" lead core recipe is what makes Targex projectiles so effective.

I didn't divulge your secret @TARGEX. I just said that you had a secret
