    3 days to go hunting where to go

    Looking for a place to go for a hunt for a few meat animals can someone point me in a close direction cheers

    Plan B waihaha. Walk into the hut then walk another hour and a half past. Fly Camp and go from there.

    Pissing down in the Kaimai's overnight, but even a deaf ol'coot like me heard one roaring yesterday...weather coming in from the East so probably 3 days of shit...go elsewhere.

    A compass is all one really needs in the Kaimai's, if you smell cow shit you are on the Waikato side, if it's a sea breeze then that's the Bay,...if lost going North - South then that's a 5 or 6 day hike.

    Not trying to be a dick but if he lives at the base of the kaimai's it's super easy to get quick hunts or over nighters in the kaimai's. There's far better places to go like galatea.
