Try some Belmont 130 HP s they drop like they have been hit by a truck. Very accurate round as well. My 308 and a mates shoots so accurate with them I haven't bothered reloading for them.
Where from? I went in to get some roaring red smashers and come out with 125 grainers :wtfsmilie:
Belmont ammo made in Wanganui Are you going to muckos ? I have trained sports world Matamata to carry them. Some one in the bay will have or be able to get some surely. Ph Belmont they ll tell you who does
Mines not a tikka so may be a bit more fussy ;) i'll try em if these dont perform
No no these are both Sakos so fussy as eh what old chap @Gibo. Ha ha
yep they are dynamite on fallow to yearling red size animals, something more sturdy for full grown reds.(Belmont that is)
I remember @Kiwi Greg using a 125 on fallow but cant remember what flavour?
I used 125 BTs at 3100 ish IIRC out of the 308, absolute dynamite on Fallow & other light frangible game.
The Speer 130 HP varmints are about as explody, more accurate, but have the BC of a dead hedgehog....
Some rifles don't feed them very well out of the mag.
