    Not the best video but you get the picture. Only being 800 Yards the tack driving DCM made a clean kill a walk in the park. Cheers Kiwi Greg for building this beast of a rifle!!!

    Recovery only took about 6 hours, two twisted ankles and a shitload of bush bashing

    cool, had to watch the flight path to find the deer only the one, moving diagonally up and right ?

    i spend most weekends watching vapour trails at those kinds of distances, yours is a hell of a lot flatter than 308

    good effort on recovering that deer !

    Just under 2700fps so about twice the energy of a .308 point blank

    Half the fun with long range hunting is the retrieve! I won't be rushing out to shoot across that gully again though haha.
