8 minutes with a Stewart Island White Tailed Deer

Despite shooting my first white tail in 5 trips to the island, this really was the highlight of the trip.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Once it sees you it knows something is there but can’t quite figure it out. Well done on the filming.

Aren't they just precious,in the early 1980,Long Harry block, had one come wandering along and just like at the one minute mark I got an arrow on the string waiting for the gap, waiting, waiting ,after half hour I stalked the 11mtrs....Grey ghost

    Fantastic
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

He seemed to wind you but then he gave himself a wee clean, then off grazing again.

    Pretty cool

    Well done on the footage

Wow! Such awesome footage. I love doing my videos, and I know how hard it is to get everything right. That was fantastic, and way better than shooting another one.

Yeah it was pretty chunky. The 2 year I shot was also in very good condition. Great to see, cos they have been doing it tough over the last few years.
