Tape is to hold it on the bit 2/3rds down is to cover some holes when the first gun works suppressor let go

Hunting in the rain is the business! I see plenty out and about, forest floor is quite, it dums down their hearing and sense of smell. As long as your dressed to the conditions its good fun, more so it your chasing pigs around too! :thumbsup:

What do you do differently when hunting in the rain rather than in the dry?

Worse thing is your glasses fog up!!! Really pisses me off

Open sights in the rain..

I always look under overhangs and pungas, anywhere with a bit of shelter from rain. I always figure the deer will be doing what anything with a brain would do and get under cover stay dry and warm

I’m hearing ya! Have you tried contact lenses? I wear glasses all the time except for hunting. Contacts don’t fog up

I quite often wear contacts when hunting but then I have to stuff around with reading glasses to look at maps, tie knots etc. I was at the HVNZDA shoot on the weekend which was great fun but same thing, weirdly. Glasses kept fogging up. It wasn’t raining and I wasn’t working hard I was just lying there. But I digress.

Yep tried them and with a side wind blowing, have had them whipped out, then I may as well go home:(
