    Afternoon Stroll

I took a mate out this arvo , hes not really done much deer hunting though did manage to shoot a fallow while spotlighting rabbits a while back but always felt it was a bit of a cheat so really wanted to have a hunt, today we went for a wander in one of my fav spots only to find sweet FA couldn't believe the lack of sigh but then just on dark I spotted a animal around 1k away so we sat tight a bit longer hoping something a bit closer mite pop out , sure enough a spiker wandered out swapping the black gun for a proper rifle , range 300 U2.6 moa on the 308 , a good rest and we were in business just had to wait for the deer to turn side on waiting waiting next minute 3 deer came charging past at 10 paces lol we got more of a fright than them had to larf they even stopped below us & gave a couple of barks , finally the spiker moved & my mate nailed it good shot to just behind the shoulder , @Paddy79 not bad for a marshmallow aye ...weres that finger when I need it
