Curious as to see how many air rifle enthusiasts are on here.
And a sharing of photos of them and what you use them for.

I used to have a BSA spitfire like yours that I did a few mods to. We are running a $100 air rifle challenge at the moment where you buy the cheapest $100 rifle from GC and modify and tune it to improve accuracy so if you want to join in the fun.
I run calibres .177, .22 and .25
.177 mostly just plinking these days, both my .22 are CO2 powered (extensively modified cr600w and Crosman 2250) both used for pest control around home.
And .25 Hatsan for rabbits, hares and possums (has a wallaby kill under its belt too)
Favourites are as follows, .177 cannon multipump
.22 Cr600w bulk fill CO2 carbon barrel sleeve etc... and my ar style bulk filled 2250
My .25 Hatsan
haha cool. just broke the stoeger in the photo by taking it apart because something was rattling around inside and found the problem but almost hurt myself pretty badly because there was a pressurized cilinder inside and went boom.and if there was a spring inside I have no idea where it went iv turned my bedroom upside down looking for it.so I'll probably drop it off at guncity to discard it.but I also purchased a stoeger .22 offof my buddie that wasn't using it.
ill leave the modding to people that actually know what they're doing.
sorry jaffa177 but if there was a lol emoji it would be all over your page , lol .
Id have to agree with ya.i had no fucking idea what I was doing.lesson learned.leave it to the professionals
Hahahahahahahahahahaha
We've all been there done that. Feel free to pm me and we can see if we can get it back together for you. GC aren't much help with air guns, I would recommend you go and see Ron Young at Young's airguns on Dominion Rd
I'm about to move from glenfield in auckland to the kaipara harbour.are you located anywhere around there?.
I started off with air rifles and found they helped me shoot better when I got my FAL as it helped with shot placement on rabbits heads.
I have gone back to air rifles recently as I enjoy the challange of shot placement with the smaller round.
I have a crossman 362 , which I blooded the other day on a rabbit and Im looking seriously at getting a cometa fusion again from youngs. Wish I never sold my last one I had.
