    AJ Productions Caller

    Hey guys

So i picked up one of the AJ callers at the sika show, now i have a fairly good understanding on how to use calls for Red and Sika in the rut. However im really interested in hearing how these go outside of the rut using the "year round calls" they have on them.

I only got the red and sika card, but keen to hear peoples experience using these in general, including other species too.
If you can't kill it with bullets, dont f*ck with it.

I use one of these all times of the year, can have a lot of fun with them. Work a treat in close

The make quality of my Aj caller (newest version) is bloody average, cheap kids toy feeling plastic. The "2" button is faulty already even though I mainly use the remote.
The Remotes label sticker is wearing off too. I had to tape it with clear packing tape to protect it.
I've only had the unit since March '23.

The usefulness of it is bloody great though.
I shot a young red stag in the roar that had busted me at the top of a bluff out of a creek. He barked and ran off from 15m but stopped at 80m. I gave him a stag roar call and then hind calls. He would groan back at the stag call and he was replying to the hind call with the same sounding 'hind" call. We were in steep thick crown fern so the dog and I were crashing as we moved towards him slowly. He stuck around replying over 30 times for 20mins until I closed to 25m and shot him. Silly young fella.

Game calls on your phone and a Bluetooth speaker works brilliantly and is quite a cheap option

So how do you these for reds as opening the link & reading it says can be used for reds? But Reding it seems to be more for sika what's your opinion bot using it for reds

Get anywhere with this? They are currently on sale ($33.75 USD?) so looking at making an order if you want in? Shipping is $25 (presume USD) so be good to split that up.

I'd go for 1 @RacksandRods if there's an order going.
