Thread: Animal signs?

hi, I went to tararua forest this weekend, but i didn't get anything, however i found something interesting, it seems like something left signs. Rootings and drops, but I am not sure what kind of animal made the rooting and left drops, might be different species. I found these on flat area between two hills nearby a river. I took some photos and here put in my thread, I think it might be hogs, I only know hogs likes rooting, could anyone please tell me what kind of animals if you know this?
