Thread: Another rifle walk.

Mate I've done the same thing on my first ever Tahr hunt. I was really new to long range shooting and brought my first dial up scope with very tall exposed turrets, hunted all day and finally found a mob of Tahr...looked down at the dials and my windage dial wasn't on zero.

I had no idea which way it had turned, so I made an educated guess and turned it back to zero. I dialed in my come ups and windage and boom...boom...boom...fuck!!!! Yip, my educated guess was the wrong way and I was 15MOA out in windage at 350y!!! Took the shots to realise and cost me my first possible Tahr.

Good lesson to learn, never repeated it and never want to again.
