    Antlers in the shed...

I went down and started a bit of a tidy up. First thing was 10 years of accumulated antlers that Ive bothered to bring home.

There's a few more in another shed too. Not sure what I will do with them all really. Don't want to biff them, but they aren't much use really. I guess my boys can decide when they have the "final" tidy up.

Will do something like that - but will need to drill into the solid concrete to get a frame up.

One might make a good coat rack. Don't know what you could do with the rest. A bit of artistic landscaping in the garden maybe

I sent the pic to eldest son. He responded "Please give them to B (his younger brother) in your will, or give them to Tony"

Of course I took the bait by replying "Who's Tony"??

He replied "He's the guy that drives your rubbish truck"

I sold some through NZ Deer farmers velvet auction about 2004. A customer wanted a container load for the States. Got $45 a kilo for shot antlers (cut off skull with skilsaw) Just rubbish heads 7-12 points but the draw card was natural rubbing and coronets on, unlike most farm cut ones are not rubbed properly and of coarse no coronet.
That cleared one bay of my implement shed.

I bought a few of the old style sheffield stainless cutlery knives from sally shops and whacked the casein handles off then fitted antler handles. They look pretty nice and work better than the modern rubbish especially to hold onto.

I’ve given a lot of skulls away to people (antlers are the new trend you see) but have still managed to hang on to a few..

There's nowhere near enough junk (cool shit that might come in handy) in those last two sheds.
