haven't hunted there but would be keen to hear a report .....thinkin of booking that block for next year. have a look at the satellite imagery theres grassy flats on the river edge ...so if you go for a fish don't leave your rifle behind....if the winds coming from the east it would be worth heading up the gut at the north end of he runway on the right, some north facing clearing/slips up there..

It's a rough walk to the river to fish, but doable. Send me a Pm for hunting.

Been there twice now.Good family block, hut warm and everything in it.Well tracked thru manuka to native and there are plenty of deer but they do tend to hide in the tight!!! manuka crap. River is a bit of a walk but our boy was 8yrs old the 1st trip and he was fine. Good hunting to the north up to the creek heads or south towards the block boundry, some handy clearings that way. Water tanks for hut water and a great meatsafe. Good luck and look forward to the trip report. Pm if you need more info.
