Thread: Any ideas on weight?

well I said young based on condition thats subjective here is a photo of a saddle back pedigree - lots of crosses out there - it used to be Tamworth Landrace and Berkshire were the favoutite cross by pig hunters trying to build up size in the local pig population but Kune kune also crossed by pig hunters - more recently Russian wild boar the true European wild boar - these bought in by pig enthusiasts trying to maintain some of the old breeds - I saw a litter of wild pigs on the road out back of Taranaki and all were striped sure sign they had Russian wild boar in them - all interesting stuff -our best pig ever was 290lb (131kg) fat as and wild--
